I performed electric cellow with Bludded Head, and parted ways when I moved to Colorado in 2013.

Avid performer of epic doom/drone composed for the electric cello in the doom metal band, Bludded Head. Our self-titled debut album was released on May 29, 2012. The album was recorded by Matthew Barnhart at Echo Labs directly onto 2” tape, and was
then mastered using all analog equipment in Dallas at A&R records. The artwork was created by Gillian Hill, Nevada Hill’s daughter, and screen-printed by Nevada Hill. The record was recorded at 45rpm for high fidelity. So for even more doom,
you may listen to it at 33 1/3rpm.

Our record is available for sale through our Bandcamp page, NevadaHill.com,
Big Cartel, as well as Desert Island in New York, and Recycled Books in Denton, TX.

We also released a tape of our second record called Bludded Death.  The tape is sold out but can be purchased through the Bludded Head Bandcamp page

Artist, Darcy Neal has created circuitbent and custom circuit designed instruments since 2007. Neal was originally inspired by the circuitbending of Reed Ghazala as well as the rich underground scenes in Texas. She performs live with her devices, and
has sold quite a few as commissions to other artists. The most notable commission was Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips, who used Neal’s instrument to perform a noise solo for the song “Sleeping On The Roof” from the Soft Bulletin. Neal is currently
developing a kit for said instrument so that others may enjoy playing the circuit themselves. Neal performs with various groups including Geistheistler, Zanzibar Snails, Ulnae, and Bludded Head. Darcy Neal is a primarily self-taught artist, a musician,
and an avid electronics enthusiast.

She got her start as an artist and a cellist/pianist as a child, and has consistently been active with both mediums throughout her years. Sometime in 2007, she discovered circuit bending through a friend, and instantly became fascinated with electronics,
and since then has completely dedicated her craft to developing audio electronic circuits and building obscure instruments that deal with physical interactions to control its functions, and designs instruments for musicians and artists through commissioned
work. She actively plays electric cello and handmade electronics in several different bands in Denton, TX, which is home to one of the most unique music cities in the South. Her focus is directed towards physical computing and having tangible interactions
with her versions of musical instruments.
